How much do you charge?
We charge £4.25 per hour. With a 50p charge per school trip. For example if we drop your child at school and collect them on the same day we charge you £1.00. If we only drop off or collect you will be charged 50p.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
Yes, we offer a 5% sibling discount which means sibling rate is £4.04 per hour.
Do you accept childcare vouchers?
Yes, we accept childcare vouchers
Do you accept 2 year and 3/4 year old funding.

How do I pay?
Our preferred payment is via BACs but we will also take cash. We also accept payment though the government tax free childcare scheme. Unfortunately we are unable to take cheques or postal orders.
When do I pay?
We will email you an invoice during the last week of the month and your fees are due by the last Friday in the month. This sometimes means it is a 5 week month.
What happens if I’m late?
If you’re running late we ask that you let us know as soon as possible. If you’re late after your usual hours you will be charged at the overtime rate of £6.00
Can I send someone else to collect my child?
Yes, providing you have given them your password which you provide with your permission forms and send us a photo or very clear description of them.
What happens if my child is poorly?
If your child is poorly we cannot provide care for them. Please let us know as soon as possible if your child is poorly and not attending. You will be charged at your usual rate. If your child falls ill during our care we will contact you and arrange for you to collect them as soon as possible.
What happens if my childminder is poorly?
If we are poorly we will give you as much notice as we can that we are unable to care for your child. There will be no fees at this time.
What happens when I’m on holiday?
Please give us as much notice as you can for your holiday time. You will be charged at your usual rate.
What happens when my childminder is on holiday?
We will give you as much notice as we can when we will be on holiday. You will not be charged during this time.
What happens during school holidays?
Depending on what sort of contact you have will depend on what happens during school holidays. If you are on a term time only contract you will not be charged during school holidays. If you are on a full year contact you will be charged for the hours that your child is with us, if you chose not to send your child you will be charged at their usual daily rate.
How long have you been childminding?
I have been a registered childminder since 1996. Carol was a registered childminder from 1987~1997 when we decided to change our setting to one childminder and assistant

Do you have a first aid certificate?
Yes, we both hold paediatric and adult first aid certificates which are renewed every 3 years.
How many children are you allowed to look after?
Working together we are allowed to look after 12 children under 8 years old.
What food and snacks will you provide for my child?
We ask that you provide all food and snacks for your child. We are happy too reheat or cook anything you send for your child. We ask that you do not send anything with peanuts in due to severe allergies. There is a change for forgotten meals.
Where will my child sleep?
We try to stick as much as possible to a similar routine that your child has at home. We have rocking chairs, cots and comfy sofas all available.
What do I need to send with my child?
Depending on your child’s age and needs you will need to provide;
Nappies, food, change of clothes, shoes, coat. And if your young child has a comforter we strongly recommend you send it.
